Staff Moderation Guide

This document is for staff members only. Sharing this information with non-staff is grounds for removal from the team.

Staff Responsibilities

As a member of the Indigo RP staff team, you are expected to:

  • Maintain professionalism at all times
  • Enforce rules fairly and consistently
  • Document all actions taken
  • Assist players with issues
  • Report to senior staff regularly

Staff Ranks & Permissions

Moderator

  • Kick/warn players
  • Teleport to players
  • View reports
  • Basic vehicle spawning

Administrator

  • All moderator permissions
  • Temporary bans
  • Resource management
  • Economy adjustments

Senior Administrator

  • All admin permissions
  • Permanent bans
  • Whitelist management
  • Server configuration

Developer

  • Full server access
  • Code deployment
  • Database management
  • System administration

Report Priority

  1. Critical: Hacking, mass RDM
  2. High: Serious rule breaks
  3. Medium: Minor violations
  4. Low: Questions, disputes

Investigation Process

  4. Make determination
  5. Apply appropriate action
  6. Document in staff channel

Player Punishments

Severity Levels

Level 1 - Warning

  • First minor offense
  • Unintentional rule break

Level 2 - Kick

  • Repeated warnings
  • Disrupting RP

Level 3 - Temporary Ban

  • Serious violations
  • Multiple offenses

Level 4 - Permanent Ban

  • Hacking/exploiting
  • Extreme toxicity
  • Ban evasion

Documentation

All staff actions must be logged with:

  • Player ID and name
  • Date and time
  • Violation details
  • Evidence links
  • Action taken
  • Staff member name

Staff Conduct

  • Be helpful and patient
  • Stay neutral in disputes
  • Take breaks to avoid burnout
  • Communicate with team
  • Learn from mistakes
